We gave you a hint during the mobile world congress that a full blown version of Flash 10 is coming for PocketPC phones by the end of this year. Now we have more specific dates.

Adobe recently announced a “Max” press conference that is said to take place this October 2009. During the conference, they will unveil the Flash Platform which is a complete system of integrated tools, frameworks, clients and servers too for the development of web applications, content and video that is capable of running consistently across wide variety of operating systems and mobile devices including Windows Mobile PocketPc devices.

Although development to Windows Mobile operating system is quite at slow pace, Adobe software is a great asset to Microsoft. So, let’s hope for the best.

Well, sometimes a replica can outshine the original and surpass expectations. We agree that the HTC Max 4G is a best pocket pc to capture your fancy. But, a Chinese company tinkering with the phone came up with a much, much better version of the device!

Although the new Internet Explorer mobile could play YouTube videos with Flash Lite which is a primitive version of flash when compared to the ones people have on their desktop and even better, HTC has made a custom YouTube application for their Touch Diamond pocket pc, what's more than just a good news is that adobe had promised to deliver the latest version Flash 10 to Windows Mobiles very soon. Yeh!!!

HTC loves the top position and has many ‘firsts’ to its credit, including the first ever WiMax device. Officially, it’s the HTC T8290 and codenamed as the HTC Quartz, this phone would arrive very, very soon on Yota, the Russian WiMax network.

Zbop at TreoCentral has come out with yet another solution for Flash based video streaming. The solution will install a small CAB file and the TCPMP player. Using this, you can browse any flash based video sharing site (e.g. video.google.com, stage6divx.com etc), select the video you wish to watch and the TCPMP will play the video selected! Ironically, this solution does not work for YouTube due to HTTP structural changes on the website. For more details, click here!
